Hello and welcome to the 3rd Indian Super League (ISL) 2014 match between Delhi Dynamos FC and FC Pune City at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium on Tuesday evening. The hosts have veteran Italian striker Alessandro del Piero but the visitors boast the presence of fellow Juventus star David Trezeguet. 5′: The home side have a freekick as Cirillo brings down Junker in his own half just ahead of the half-line. The Dynamos can’t make anything out of it and the attack eventually fizzles out after Malswamtulunga fouls Ashutosh Mehta inside Pune’s half.
9′: We have our first shot on target of the match and it’s FC Pune City, who register that with David Trezeguet. The Frenchman has a half-chance but his shot is weak and rolls straight into the hands of Van Hout.
11′: Two attempts from the Dynamos following Trezeguet’s effort. The first chance is off target but the second from Mats Junker is saved by Belardi. The tempo of the match is increasing bit by bit!
17′: Attempt – Off-target – FCPC – Israil Gurung attempts for goal after the ball falls to him near the 35-yard mark after Park’s corner was cleared. But the shot does not bother Van Hout and flies wide for a goal-kick.
19′: ATTEMPT SAVED – Great buildup play and Junker has another shot on target but the Belardi saves the ball at full stretch and the ball rolls out for a corner. The corner is cleared and Naoba Singh tries a volley from 25-yards out, which flies wide over FCPC goal.
22′: Attempt saved once again! First Fernandes robs Maithani off the ball but Pune defenders clear the ball for a corner. The corner is cleared only as far as outside the box from where Shouvik’s shot comes flying towards goal. Belardi once again saves FC Pune City and the Dynamos have another corner. That corner is cleared as well and FCPC can breathe easy for a while.
32′: Offside! – Trezeguet caught offside once again as he was put through on goal by Gurung. The Frenchman has been caught lurking behind the defence for the second time now.
37′: Substitution – Delhi Dynamos: Long two minute wait for the Italian star as he had to wait for the referee to permit the substitution to take place. Skoubo has picked up an injury and had to be taken off!
41′: Attempt – off-target – Delhi Dynamos: Great play from the Dynamos as Del Piero tries to set up Hans Mulder for goal. The 27-year-old goes close but his shot is just inches off Belardi’s goal.
43′: Attempt – Off-target – FC Pune City: Lenny Rodrigues has the ball 30-yards away from goal and he too goes close but fails to hit the target.

46′: And the second-half commences with FC Pune City looking to create an attack. They lose the ball within seconds and Delhi are back in possession.
58′: Attempt – SAVED! – Delhi Dynamos press and Fernandes sets up Junker, who forces a save off Belardi. Clearly the Italian goalkeeper is keeping the visitors alive in the match.
59′: Substitution – FC Pune City: Merajuddin Wadoo comes on in place of Katsouranis, who has been quite ineffective in this game. Dudu Omagbemi is also brought on in place of Israil Gurung.
62′: Attempt – Off-target – FC Pune City: Wadoo tries to make an immediate impact as he tries to break the deadlock from 25-yards out. But his shot curls over Dynamos’ goal.
67′: Attempt- Off-target – Delhi Dynamos: It’s the home side who launch an attack once again and its Del Piero this time. Belardi goes full stretch and does not get any touch on the ball; fortunately for the shot-stopper and Pune, the ball is just wide!
73′: Omagbemi wins a free-kick in Delhi’s half. The ball is played to Cirillo, whose tame shot is far away from goal. Meanwhile, the Dynamos make a substitution with Lalthlamuana replacing Malswamtulunga.
82′: Substitution – Delhi Dynamos make their final substitution of the match and its Mads Junker who is taken off and Gustavo Santos is brought on.
90+1′: ATTEMPT – OFF THE UPRIGHT – Delhi Dynamos: We were just inches away from witnessing the first goal of the match and it was Santos’ shot that hit the post and bounced back to keep the scores level in injury time!
Full-time: We have the first draw of ISL 2014 and it’s Delhi Dynamos FC and FC Pune City who have played out a goalless draw at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at the national capital. Expectations were high on Del Piero and Pune’s Trezeguet but the Dynamos, despite their dominance failed to find a way past Belardi.
