Commenting on the anthem, Prasad Potluri, co-owner, Kerala Blasters said, “The anthem celebrates team spirit, passion and pride embodied by Kerala. It’s a clarion call to all fans to come and wholeheartedly support Kerala Blasters by chanting the anthem and sporting yellow.”

The song has been composed by Ms. M M Sreelekha and sung by the renowned Kalabhavan Mani. Ms. Sreelekha spoke about her experience of composing the anthem and said, “I am happy and excited to be associated with Kerala Blasters. The anthem attempts to symbolize the enthusiasm for the game in Kerala and exhorts everybody to play the game.”
While the announcement featured the launch of the anthem, a great deal of excitement surrounded the release of the team’s jersey by Sachin Tendulkar. Muthoot Pappachan Group announced its association with the team as the title sponsor.
